Originating from a single species that thrived in ancient times, Xenowyrms have become an incredibly diverse breed whose appearances vary depending on their habitats. Each Xenowyrm subspecies is heavily reliant on the power of different types of mana, making them powerful magic users. Pyros are easily the heaviest of all Xenowyrm subspecies and they use their weight to their advantage. If scorching their foes with flames doesn’t finish them off, Pyros will use the weight of their bodies for sheer crushing power. They create their lairs solely in volcanic regions, where lava and billowing flames are the land’s most prominent features.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Once upon a time as a young wyrm, Kalass possessed a great gift—a voice so lovely that his melodies would haunt the listeners for the rest of their lives. Unable to form words the ethereal quality of the sounds still were perfectly able to convey a deeper meaning. When Kalass started to abuse his voice to lure in prey though a young dragon hero challenged him to a fight. After the young one won the fight, he didn't kill Kalass but maimed his throat so badly that he would never be able to tempt innocent dragons into his maw ever again. The Pyro spent months recuperating from his wounds, and the scars are a vivid remainder of his loss. Kalass has sworn to find that young upstart and teach him a lesson, making him regret he ever set eye on Kalass—before killing him very, very slowly.
