Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Arithial is a mysterious and strange creature. No one knows where his strange powers come.

But The darkness shapes to his will. He is one who fights for others. He protects the innocent creatures, even though he is one of the darkness. Arithial is someone who is generally good. Others can easily find his weakness... After all he is a master of the darkness.

He once said, "Darkness is just Darkness. It is not evil, nor good. It just is. And so are all other powers."

In the cave his job is to teach newly matured dragons how to better survive and sometimes helps with the gathering of the food.

He has only one mate, Kalnoria, who he will protect with everything in his grasp.
