As the nocturnal relative to Sunbeam Drakes, Moonglow Drakes are a secretive breed most active under the light of the moons and stars. They are wary of others, but are known to have incredible loyalty should their trust be won. Catching sight of Moonglow Drakes as they dance amid the moonlight is seen as a favorable omen by those they live near, and tamed individuals are common. They are slightly smaller than their cousins, averaging around the size of a cat.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

Dusk is the fourth oldest dragon of the Clan and is the oldest of the Drake Trio. She's bright and curious and can very silly, but if the needs comes then she can quickly focus. Dusk loves grapes completely and sometimes uses them for her little tricks which cause the hatchlings to roll around laughing. Dusk has a decent bond with Sundance and Fallowtail and likes to be the one to find the nesting spots.
