This breed of dragon was thought to exist only in legend. Although their name varies between cultures, they are often referred to as “Guardians of Nature.” They are able to channel the forces of fire, ice and lightning, which allows them to wield tremendous power. Seen very rarely, it is thought that they only become active when something is threatening the territory they have chosen to guard. In order to protect their chosen home, these dragons are incredibly adaptable; they have been seen everywhere from remote mountain ranges, to ancient forests, to the darkest depths of the ocean.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Rab'cequ Colupin is a very protective dragon, which is very fitting for her specie of dragon. She stands guard over a cave entrance that is located at the base of one of the many mountains in a mountain range that is by an ocean. The cave is long and curvy, with many paths and passageways. Some lead out into another mountain's peak, others come to dead ends where some dragons live. One leads down below ground level. This leads to a tunnel that goes through the ocean. It eventually opens up to an island that is protected by a magic spell so that whoever flies above it, will only see ocean. On the tunnel leading to the ocean is another magic spell so that any inside the tunnel can see outwards, but those looking in from the ocean only see rock.

Some may think that Rab'cequ, or Rab for short, is a lonely dragon. Only having herself and her adopted baby, Ji'kalu Colupin, as company but she has Kaini Sma Pruluzas and Exeinoru Qumida as companions as well.
