Magma Dragons are capable of withstanding the intense temperatures of their element. They live in volcanic regions, their bodies coated in the red hot magma which clings to their scales. They must leave the lava fields in order to hunt, although they require surprisingly little food to sustain their lumbering mass.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

The aloof and cynical Vuldaanyol is one of the newer members of the clan's Magma dragon pack. She comes from a far-away land, claiming that she has no parents and was born when a particularly large volcano erupted in her homeland. No one knows how she ended up in the clan's territory, but she doesn't seem to care about it, anyway.

She spends her days wandering around and exploring nearby areas for whatever reason. She returns home when the night falls, going back to wandering when the sun rises. Vuldaanyol is not a very social dragon, but sometimes Ninja Druid Chicken (yes, it's a chicken) accompanies her during her adventures. Vuldaanyol's name means "Dark Doom Fire".
