Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Albino Dragons are so named because their translucent, scale-less skin lacks all pigment. Instead, to help protect their bodies from the sun, they are coated in an oily secretion that blocks the sun’s harmful rays. The call of an albino dragon is similar to a barn owl--a shriek instead of a roar.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
Haas has a gift with words that exceeds even his father's, and uses his talent to persuade passing humans and dragons to come have their fortunes told by Falgran. He's not above stretching the truth, to Falgran's dismay, and Elmiera has taken it upon herself to stop Haas from spreading perpetually harmful falsehoods. Claiming Falgran has advised royalty is harmless enough (and quite possibly true); claiming her visions are the full and complete truth is bound to eventually lead to deadly consequences. Because of his delicate skin, Haas uses a special sunscreen and an awning bartered by a trader to keep the sun from burning his skin, but even sunburn can't dampen his enthusiasm for attracting customers.
