Mint colored dragons are the most peaceful of all dragons; they only eat plants unless they scavenge meat from an already dead animal. They also have no ways to attack others or defend themselves. They are much smaller than other forms of dragons since they only double in size when they mature. Mint dragons are unable to use magic and cannot fly since they lack wings. Their looks have given rise to the common insult of calling dragons “large lizards.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Jade may be tiny, but she is a powerhouse in disguise. She is extremely fast, unencumbered as she is by wings, and is able to wriggle into the small cracks and crevasses in the pack's cave to get at succulent little rodents. These she usually feeds to the growing hatchlings, preferring to eat plants and such herself. Meat, ugh. Nasty.

Much like Pipkin, she is a devoted little member of the pack and spends most of her time caring for young ones. She may not have much in the way of defensive strength, but if alarmed she can produce an amazingly loud, whistling shriek that gets the immediate attention of the "bigger guns" like Spellslinger and Escutcheon.

She is passing fond of Aethyria and Shiverwynd, but while she would never admit it openly she is a little jealous of Cavorti's ability to emit a brilliant light from her scales.
