Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Found as an egg by Reena, Cerane was raised by the kind female as one of her own children. Still rough tempered and a bit rebellious, Cerane, like all of his kind, is able to control the weather to a certain extent, since it uses up a lot of his energy. His only friend in the flock was Sunshower at first, even though they were complete opposites. Sunshower was the only dragon other than Reena who could calm Cerane down when he is enraged when he first joined the flock. As time passed, Cerane became softer and kinder, even though he's still a bit rough around the edges, and anyone in the flock is able to cool his temper to some extent. He has become good friends with Reverent, despite how their personalities clash, and he and Sunshower are now more like brothers than friends.
