Pink Dragons are primarily herbivores and only eat meat during the mating season, when mates will exchange kills. When it is not breeding season, pink dragons spend most of their time incubating eggs and caring for their clan’s young. Due to their feminine color, it was traditionally thought that pink dragons were a strictly female breed, but this is not true.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Despite his rather blunt name, Get Gone is an incredibly gentle individual, being especially fond of things people consider 'broken'. This includes his mate, the malformed Rosebud, Lady Hillingdon.

While other dragons pouted and praised her enormously for her courage—some even insisting that there was nothing disfigured with her, really—Get Gone never treated her like anything she wasn't. In this case, a properly-formed and healthy Rosebud. It was only through his patient kindness that he taught her to focus on her strengths, even teaching her to fly with much physical training.

She may be snappier and smart-mouthed compared to others of her kind, but with the patience shown by Get, Lady learned how to feel comfortable and confident in her own skin. Get Gone himself feels that even if he is never able to help another dragon, his life's purpose has been fulfilled. There is no room for any other in his heart after Lady, and the love he shows for her is sincere.
