Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

It was a snowy night when he met his future mate, lost in the outskirts of the village he swore to protect. And it was another snowy night when their glowing egg hatched, revealing what Pasko and Ilisa believed to be their first born son. This changed, however, as the young hatchling grew, and despite her blue fur she took on the name Julia and announced that she was female. It took Ilisa longer to accept the fact, but Pasko immediately supported his daughter and loved her no less than he did the day she hatched. Other dragons were not so open to the idea that an individual could simply 'feel' like a different gender, but many learned to change their minds after Pasko paid them a visit. If any dragon hurt his daughter's feelings or body in any way, they would find themselves with a very protective Winter Magi on their tail. Not to mention a stocking full of coal on Christmas.
