Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Gozinth is a member of the Math Magi, a group of mathematically-minded magi dragons, each with their own speciality.  When choosing a speciality, she remembered how many of the dragons who came to visit her parents left with blank, glazed, or puzzled looks, and decided to make it her job to instruct dragons in basic arithmetic.  Gozinth has become the most popular of the Math Magi, because she's the most understandable.  She takes great care to ensure that she presents her lessons in an understandable manner, and is always ready with further explanation if someone doesn't quite get what she's saying.
