White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Mage is the healer of the Kara pack. He is quite kind and has a fondness for the young dragons in the pack. In an incident where Hades (a Hellfire Wyvern) almost burned up Papyrus (a paper dragon), Mage treated Pyr's wounds and patched up the charred bits of paper. His mate is Wisp.

Mage is also the bearer of the Kara Prophecy:

"With the help of the Green and the Brimstone,

And the love of the Black and Sunrise;

Magma, Thunder, and Ice will come together

And set Karaglen free to the skies."

Later, Mage came bearing another prophecy:

"When the trio shall come to lose their way

Another three shall step in

When Angel, Righteous Man, and Boy King shall stay

And lend a helping hand."
