Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Altea'kuro is often seen as an aloof creature; she prefers to fly above the turning world and soar through whatever weather she pleases. Her sister-in-spirit, Altea'kari, doesn't mind her breezy attitude towards life, and can often be found flying alongside her. "Kuro" once believed this would be the only friendship she would find, but by some twist of fate, she found herself intrigued by D'entwil. He is forever bound to the ground, but his point of view has broadened her horizons! She enjoys sharing the wonders of the sky with him and brings back souvenirs of her travels. Despite what others may think of her, Kuro treasures the friends she has above anything else!
