White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Around is a member of the Ribbonwing family, a group of dragons whose magic grows and wanes with the seasons, from their absolute minimum at the summer solstice when they are hardly able to heal a simple cut to the height of their power come the yuletide night when they can perform regular miracles.

Around has heard of the family legend that once one of his ancestors managed a true resurrection in the winter solstice night but he is a critical thinker with all four paws firmly planted on the ground. He thinks it's all just a nice fairy tale to keep the hopes up during the hot months by illusions of grandeur to counter the harsh reality of temporary incompetence.
