Deep Sea Dragons, as their name suggests, spend most of their time in the darkest depths of the sea. They have a bioluminescent dorsal spine that serves to attract prey and communicate with their own kind. As with many deep sea animals, they generally eat whatever they can manage to bait. They rarely leave the ocean floor, surfacing only during breeding season. When they do choose to travel to the shallower depths, they avoid bright lights and will only come up far away from shore.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

The Hitcher is a young Deep Sea dragon. She lives in the deepest section of the water system in her clan's cave, but often will surface to torment her clan. Unlike most of her clan members, however, she is creepy, unnerving, cruel, and, well, kind of scary. She likes nothing more than terrifying the little hatchlings and timid dragons with horrifying stories, and crashing the parties that Icarus, Derpy, and Pinkie throw. Even though she does all of these terrible things, she finds no fault in them, and sees it as "having a bit of harmless fun". She got her name from when Izar found her in a puddle outside a cave, terrifying any dragon trainer or scavenger dragon who wanted to adopt her, but she instantly followed Izar back home, like a hitchhiker. Since most of the males are terrified of her, she probably will never have a mate. Every human she has ever met, including her owner, is scared of her.
