Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It already has a pair of wings, but it can’t fly very well with them.

And look! It’s gotten bigger and has grown a second pair of wings, making it able to fly better than any hatchling you’ve ever seen.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Bukiyona Hiko is from a breed of talented fliers. This is thanks to Nhiostrife wyverns second set of wings. Sadly, this little hatchling is having a harder time getting the hang of things. He still crashes into things when he tries his hardest to fly through the sky. He wants so much to be like all the other dragons, hatchlings and adults alike that can fly with such grace.

His name means 'Clumsy Flight'.
