Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. This hatchling seems to be filled with a fell, inner flame.

And look! Its wings have grown, and it’s become bigger, more aggressive, and much hotter.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Firestorm Sun is the pride of her grandmother, the boss of her father, and the problem child of her mother. With her grandmother so close to her she has taken on the typical Hellfire traits and is quite the spitfire. She knows she's already larger and stronger than some of the other hatchlings and isn't afraid to use her bulk. Most of the time she uses this for good, bringing small game to the cave. She has no tolerance for the less serious hatchlings who do nothing that play all day. These hatchlings usually get a scolding that they tend to ignore.
