Sunbeam Drakes are the diurnal counterparts to Moonglow Drakes, their eggs having been laid during the daylight hours. They are around the size of a small dog, and while docile, can be flighty and easily startled. Most can be found high in treetops enjoying the bright sunlight, tucking themselves away at the first sign of a storm or impending nightfall. Sunbeam Drakes enjoy flying in the light of the sun, and their treetop dances are beautiful, dazzling, and serene.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

User Description

GGeNN likes to make things. She admires all the big dragons who make things and aspires to be just like them. She likes to try making things from the odds and ends that her friend HONE1 catches. She doesn't really understand that when HONE1 brings arrows in, it's a sign that archers are attacking the big dragons and none of them feel like bursting her happy little bubble as she uses them—nice, straight sticks—to build little stools and boxes and such. At one point, HONE1 brought her so many that she made a dollhouse with the arrow shafts as walls and arrowheads as roof tiles.

One day, GGeNN hopes to find a boy drake who likes double-capital letters as much as she does.
