Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

ZEEKYBOOGYDOOG is anything but a normal black dragon. Though he is an enthusiastic warrior like the other blacks, his tactics are more than a little strange. Whenever he is confronted with an enemy, ZEEK roars his name at the top of his lungs. The only effect this usually has on his opponent is to make them blink in surprise, but ZEEKYBOOGYDOOG always seems shocked when they are not obliterated by the mere sound of his name. Nobody is quite sure why he thinks roaring his name is a good battle tactic, but on occasion it has been known to startle the opposition so badly that they flee, and the battle is won before it has even started.
