Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It loves watching the reflection of stars in the water.
And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.
Young dragons are relatively defenseless. Their scales don’t grow in until right before they mature, and they have almost no strength. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are usually left alone by their mother and begin to hunt and survive on their own.
Like her scamp of a father, this female enjoys playing dead, causing great distress to any who are meant to be watching her. However, proof of whether she is truly dead or just faking is easily obtained: mention of candy is quick to make her pop back to life again, the giddy little dragon enjoying sweets more than shocking.
