Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It perfectly depicts spring weather.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

After signing that horrible contract, Fran the Floor Person was given her name.  This contract was given to her by a friend, and it stated that Fran would take the role of her servant for 30 OR MORE days.  Unfortunately, Fran wasn't thinking too clearly or simply isn't very bright and signed it, agreeing to eternal servitude in exchange for the use of gel pens.  This "friend" has confined her to sit on the floor at lunch, and sets her up to do many tasks Fran hates and tries to defy and halfway succeeds.  Instead of finding good, legal loopholes, she simply says no, much to the friend's disdain.  This angers her friend, causing Fran to be "blessed", meaning having a hard candy on a long bendy pole whacked on her head.  Fran is shy, and debatably not very smart.
