Sunsong Amphipteres are an unusual breed. Due to light interference caused by their magical nature, they don’t seem to be affected by any ambient light source. However, when struck by direct sunlight, they shine a brilliant gold. They are playful and ever in flight; their ethereal and mysterious appearance and the fact that they are usually only seen at a distance have led many to believe they are a symbol of hope and good fortune.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Svataben's Dorkwed is really named Benny, but he begged and begged Svataben to use his title on the scroll instead.

Benny is very proud of his heritage, however far removed, and probably more so because he's never really done anything worth mentioning.

In a clan full of active dragons, including the Hatchling Army and dragons with special talents, he feels a little left out from time to time.

He tried being helpful but, having no paws to grab things with, there was very little he could do. Even the tiniest of black hatchlings seems more adept, so eventually he gave up trying to fit in by being useful.

Instead he keeps his scales shiny, remembers his heritage, and holds his head high.

The other dragons might have resented him, but luckily, he is so nice and soft-spoken that no one can resent him for having a little pride.
