Melismor Dragons are social, good-natured dragons that enjoy the shelter of forested areas. They live in close-knit family groups, burrowing deep into the earth and creating extensive, winding networks of underground burrows. While rarely seen at the surface, Melismor Dragons, when encountered, are known to be fiercely loyal and protective, yet kind when their families aren’t in any danger. These dragons are omnivorous, but most of their diet consists of plants, especially tender roots, and honey is a favored treat they’ll often bring back to their burrows to share.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Fyrfyr's greatest is fear is losing his beloved mate, Psyven, the same way he lost his first family. He was young then, a mere fledgling when a huge Nexus dragon suddenly attacked their tunnels for an easy meal. Despite the adults' best efforts, they quickly fell before the monster of a dragon. Their remains ended up the same place where the eggs did, his belly. Fyrfyr managed to escape in time with a cousin, and the two struck out on different paths.

His cousin vowed a life of revenge and to spread the word about the deeds of this malevolent beast. Fyrfyr, however, wanted nothing about this past and wished to bury it like he so gingerly buried the remains of his home.

He resigned himself to a life of complete solitude—but his instincts screamed for companionship. It was only when his sanity began to slip, that he met Psyven. He latched on to her tightly; due to her familiar yellow and black colouring, he instantly calmed in the Floret Wyvern's presence.
