Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Silvertons is a rather shy dragon. Unlike other dragons, he does not use telepathy to communicate, he uses simple gestures such as waving his holly adorned tail, to the simple nod of his head. He is formally known as 'The Dragon of No Words' due to being a mute. He highly lacks social abilities, and is often seen perched at the edge of Cliff Zimmerman, observing the rapid movements in the sea.
