Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Like the egg it hatched from, it is a very shiny gold.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Pig King is a large baby dragon. He likes gold a lot (like his pretty hide), but he likes sharing gold more than keeping it to himself. Humans can find him lying around, wearing a funny grass skirt and dangly things on his horns. If they feel like it, they can find him and give him meat and toys, which he'll gladly trade with little pieces of gold. His parents have a safeguard spell on him constantly, so he's immune to damage from unscrupulous folks. At times, there are a few guardians patrolling the area just in case.
