Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Soda was once a happy dragon. He was cheery and bubbly. Soda used to love playing with the hatchlings in the bright noon sun. But, after his mate, Coco-Butter disappeared, he hasn't been the same. There had been a misunderstanding between him and Coco, so she had gone to run it off, as she always did. But this time she did not return. The entire herd spent days trying to find her. They had followed her scent to the boarder with Shadow-Puppet's herd. Crossing that boarder meant war. The herd leader said he couldn't allow them to put the hatchlings in that kind of danger. Soda knew he was right. Sometimes, late at night, Soda sits by the boarder calling Coco's name, hoping she'll hear him, but she never does.
