Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It loves to bask and play in the sunshine.

It’s gotten slightly bigger and its colors have changed! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Farce loves to pretend that everything is just peachy. She acts for all the world to see as a normal happy hatchling from a healthy home with loving parents, yet the truth is far from that. Crippled by a terrible disease, Farce will never grow up and can't move without pain. Mistreated by a mother who projected her self-hate onto her hatchling and finally driven away by a father who was disappointed in her from the day her egg was laid, there is nothing much in Farce's life that is as it should be. Yet the courageous little hatchling keeps up the facade and acts as if everything was fine with the world.
