Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Fazian is a rather laid-back member of his Cave. He usually doesn't get involved in the Cave's affairs unless it directly affects him. Even then, Fazian is usually content to wait and see the outcome of events before getting concerned. He has found that most of the time, the drama of Cave life will pass over him if he is patient enough. Instead of worrying about the Cave, Fazian spends most of his evenings on the mountain near the Cave, studying the night sky and the waters near the Cave. He loves the solitude of nature and prefers it to the hectic business of the Cave.
