Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Apollo Gold Tinsel was the eighth tinsel dragon and the first male gold in GiratinaOF's cave. He's special to GiratinaOF because of his great abilities in singing and especially hunting. Thus he can be found searching for food with the Black Marrow Dragons from this cave. Although not too interested in breeding, his mate, Legendary  Ice, can sometimes persuade him to do so. If an egg is produced, Apollo Gold Tinsel's wife takes care of it since he's busy with other things. Still he is liked by others because he's one of the food-bringing dragons and they're happy since he's found a great mate covering his failings.
