Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It always seems to be picking over its scales.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Skulblaka abr Gedwey Skular (Shiny for short), is THE cleanest dragon in his clan. His vision is so well developed, that he could spot a single piece of dirt or dust on his beautiful pearl white scales. He cannot stand dirt, and has even made his own cavern in the cave (imagine how flipped out he was digging that)that is lined with a material that if it comes in contact with water or dirty objects, it emits cleaning agents, making the whole cavern slippery. Shiny gives baths that will leave one throbbing because of how hard he scrubs, cleaning every crevice of all dragons and other creatures who seek a thorough cleansing.
