Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It always seems to be hungry.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Yekurt is a happy little soul that wanders around during the Thanksgiving holiday, handing out turkey legs that appear out of nowhere to please him and or any dragons he comes upon. Everyone is fond of this spirited little hatchling, and even the participants of the Great War of the Swamps seem a little less inclined to bite him, or eat him, or kill him maliciously.

Yes, Yekurt is a bright and adorable hatchling that (almost) everyone regards with love and care.
