Ultraviolet Dragons are a heat-loving breed that are most commonly found in hot, arid environments. These hardy dragons are omnivorous and will eat both plant and animal matter, even species with thorny physical defenses such as cacti. They are generally peaceful and often quite friendly, but males will become aggressive and cantankerous during the breeding season. Intense fights take place over females, sometimes resulting in injury for both combatants.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Da Sveydaniya had a very sad life. When he hatched, he was immediately attacked by Tirraethe and Tirraetha, two Cave Lurker dragons who tried to eat him. He made it out, barely alive after fending off the sisters, and was then healed by Gwyn Moon Eyes, a white dragon. Then, not a day later, he was again attacked by Vyyhitr, an intensely violent Vine Dragon who again tried to eat Sveydaniya. Vyyhitr was distracted by Wynwynnyn, another violent Vine Dragon who also wanted to eat Sveydaniya, and then Kekkio came along. All three of those dragons absolutely hated eachother, and Sveydaniya had to lie there quaking in fear as the most violent dragons on the scroll fought over who got to eat him. He got caught in the crossfire, and was finally pulled out and saved by Gwyn. Several more occasions like that occurred, and this was compounded by his kind of insane hatchmate Ambrglas trying to convince him to mate with her. Eventually, he ran away to the mountains, where he lives now in solitude.
