Mint colored dragons are the most peaceful of all dragons; they only eat plants unless they scavenge meat from an already dead animal. They also have no ways to attack others or defend themselves. They are much smaller than other forms of dragons since they only double in size when they mature. Mint dragons are unable to use magic and cannot fly since they lack wings. Their looks have given rise to the common insult of calling dragons “large lizards.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Minted Spray of Pepper is part of the Peppermint Lineage. Usually taking the nickname 'Pepperspray', she has never been able to feel anything herself. She can somehow telepathically sense the feelings of those around her, but cannot interpret them the way they were meant to. She finds pain to be the best sensation, seconded by fear. Hot and cold she doesn't mind, but softness, joy, and love she does not like.

Pepperspray once tried hard to be accepted in normal society, but kept succumbing to the urge to cause pain. She eventually gave up and moved to the base of the Drowned Mountains, where she managed with spooking and (when she caught them) torturing small creatures.

More recently, Pepperspray has met a fox-demon with a cursed chain that continuously tears at her flesh. Pepperspray has begun hunting after this demon, trying to be in the pressence of someone constantly in pain. The fox, however, has a job that requires much traveling, hunting something she calls 'Runeies'.
