Script Dragons are named for the markings along their wings and sides that look almost like calligraphy. The patterns correspond to no known language, and are slightly different on every dragon. These dragons only develop the characteristic markings when they reach maturity, and they are fairly capable with magic once the patterns appear.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. FTUUR doesn't like her name and asks that acquaintances swap the tal to after the tir-thul. This is problematic for those who are not familiar with dacrune enough to know what part of her name she is referring to. She has yet to master any other alphabet enough to figure out how her name transposes (not for wont of trying), so she cannot explain it in any other way.

However her name is pronounced, FTUUR loves time mana so much that she is starting to transform from overexposure. Some suspect it is affecting her memory, given her literacy issues. She says her goal with the time mana is to read the future, but if common script is still beyond her...
