Nhiostrife Wyverns are one of the few known breeds of wyvern with more than one set of wings. Because of their four wings, Nhiostrifes are very nimble in the air and control their movements with ease. When it’s mating season, males put on a very beautiful and unique air dance in an attempt to charm a female. The amount of stripes on their wings vary, with more stripes being more attractive, although most have only two to four. Their general attitude is very passive and curious—they only fight if they or their families are in danger.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Hooded Figures is part of a small, tight-knit group of Nhiostrifes living in a remote desert valley hidden up in the mountains. This remote vale is a place of strange occurrences and even stranger dragons and they have little to no contact to the outside world. It's suspiciously similar to another community in a far-off dragon clan.

No one knows how or why Hooded Figures ended up in the community, but he's always around. Without speaking and rarely showing any interest in the other dragons, he just lurks with his face hidden by his wings. Despite openly stealing hatchlings from their parents and never returning them, the community regularly holds parades in his honor but tries to avoid looking at him during any other time. Cecil claims to have spoken to him once, but says that Hooded Figures only communicated in loud, static buzzing.
