Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Arean is a generally lazy dragon.  He is considered the leader of his clan, though most of the underlings prefer to look to the shadow-king, Perodora, for regular leadership.  Arean will step up and fight for his family when Perodora fails, and Arean attacks at the first sign of discomfort concerning his frozen daughter, Elrean.  She is the only dragon Arean truly feels bound to, and so he is over-protective.
