Sunsong Amphipteres are an unusual breed. Due to light interference caused by their magical nature, they don’t seem to be affected by any ambient light source. However, when struck by direct sunlight, they shine a brilliant gold. They are playful and ever in flight; their ethereal and mysterious appearance and the fact that they are usually only seen at a distance have led many to believe they are a symbol of hope and good fortune.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Does the sun hate the moon, its opposite, but not equal. The glowing orb of beauty must have feelings. Sun the Sunsong did hate the moon. It was her rival and it stole the light of her beloved sun. Its stolen light did not dance off her scales as the sun's did. It corrupted the light so that it awoke the evil thing that was night. The moon was even there when the sun ruled the sky, watching and waiting. The moon has no right to exist, Sun thought. One day she attacked the moon, making it no more than a dark shape hidden in the sky. Sun was filled with joy at first, but then she slowly realised that her purpose was gone. Without the moon there was nothing to hate. She loved the sun, but without something to hate love was empty. She couldn't even enjoy the suns beautiful light if there was nothing other than the sun's beautiful light to compare it to. She had become the Sun without the Moon, Day without Night, Light without Dark. She had become everything. She had become nothing.
