Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

From all around The Cave, creatures can just barely see the dim orange glow of the Magi Clan's land, just around the great Mount Hagsip. This wise and powerful dragon, the Magi Clan Guardian, guards the land, making sure that no non-magical creatures enter. The Magi Clan is primarily for Magi, the mates of Magi, other magical dragons, and certain descendants of the members.

The Magi Clan Guardian was chosen as a member of the guardian clan due to his immense magical ability and his passion for the safety and well-being of all of his Magi brethren. Many of the other Magi Dragons of the clan visit him daily to socialize or fill him in on the goings-on of the clan. They all love and respect him. No Magi festivity can begin without him, and he usually organizes meetings and ceremonies involving strange magics brought to him from foreign lands. All of the dragons are always excited to learn of which spell he has learned on duty.
