Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

This particular Black Dragon had always been sort of an outcast. Her owner had spent forever trying to obtain an alt Black Dragon, and when he successfully acquired one, he was overjoyed. But the 16 other adult Black dragons on her owner's scroll were not. They bullied her throughout her childhood, mainly because of how different she was. When she tried to stand up to them, they would beat her up. She became so depressed and alone that she didn't have the courage to leave her little cave. But then one day, her master saw them bullying her, and put an end to it. That evening he said to her, "I don't know why you're so afraid. They're only bullying you because of how jealous they are. You are a unique and special dragon. One of my prized possessions. You should stand up to them. There's no need to worry about getting beat up again. Many of my other dragons want to help." When she became an adult the other Black Dragons finally overcame their jealousy, and now they are very great friends.
