Two-Finned Blunas are a very social breed of dragon, living in packs of dragons called “pods.” Blunas are very curious and playful creatures and several dragons in a pod will often “play” with one other, chasing each other around, tossing seaweed back and forth, and riding ocean swells. They are occasionally seen swimming alongside whales and dolphins.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Samantha is a daddy's girl at heart. When she saw her father, Matthias, so heartbroken when her older sister left the nest, she did not hesitate to stay.  Despite his old age, he willingly hunts with Samantha and they keep each other constantly entertained. When Felicitie comes back from exploring far away lands, they all spend their days reading poetry and telling stories to each other.
