Gold dragons are the ones most often killed by humans, who consider their scales to be extremely valuable. These golden scales grant them a high level of protection, similar to armor, and they use this to their advantage in battle.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Prosperous got her name because of its definition. Wealth.  Her golden scales symbolize her wealth and class.  She seems to use these scales to protect herself from any threats.  She often picks fights with other dragons for dominance.  Her mother and father were killed by humans for their scales.  Since then, Prosperous has an increased aggression towards the human race.  Just the mentioning of them brings out her bad side.  And it seems as if, no matter how hard she tries, she cannot lay an egg.  She has tried to produce an egg with Noble, but it didn't work out.  She longs for children of her own, but covers up her sorrow with violence.
