Valentine eggs are only seen once a year. Adults’ mating seasons are very short, usually spanning a few weeks in the mid-to-late winter. These dragons were once reputed to be omens of good luck in love.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Valentinano has several children as of today. She was once a loving Valentine's Day Dragon. When Savootah grew up and took place as ruler of the scroll, Valentinano was a prized mate. Savootah has had 4 Dragons with her, all of them turning into the Darkhearts, then two with Sanikano, another Darkheart but not related to Savootah. Valentinano has a best friend named, Valentinala. The two Dragons have children that are Darkhearts and as Darkhearts, most of them have no soul. They don't even care about their mothers. The only Darkheart to have a heart is Vantarga, which is Valentinano's second son. He loves his mother and cares about her. He is the only Darkheart that has a bright heart. As of now, she is depressed as every week of her life is spent producing Darkhearts. The only thing that keeps her alive now, is the love her and her son Vantarga share every day.
