Gold dragons are the ones most often killed by humans, who consider their scales to be extremely valuable. These golden scales grant them a high level of protection, similar to armor, and they use this to their advantage in battle.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Daniella is a strong opposer of judging dragons from family trees, and ironically, her "clean and pure" blood allowed her to abolish such policies from the Gold community of the clan. Being crowned as the Queen of the community, she now possesses unrivaled power within it, and gradually reformed the community into a ability-based organization aiming to help fellow Gold dragons within the clan.

Being protected by Phantom as a hatchling when her ambitions were discovered by the Golds who benefited from the blood system before her reign, Daniella is fiercely loyal to the clan's leaders, and is well known for cooperating with all sensible requests from them using her power as the community's Queen.
