Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Encyclic is trying to overthrow Lowry, the current leader of the territory. Lowry is inbred and hardly deserved to grow up, much less rule. Encyclic, in contrast, was chosen directly from the biomes, unlike so many of these scavenged dragons that should have stayed abandoned. Encyclic has usurped Lowry's job of making teleport trades, as he can churn out a link faster and beat her to it. Encyclic knows his magic is very powerful, and does not hesitate to remind other dragons of that fact, especially when they get on his nerves. He knows he was meant to command, but does not understand why his uncompassionate ways make him unpopular. He is undeterred by public opinion and knows it is only a matter of time before his rise to power.
