Nocturne Dragons are a strange breed. Whenever light strikes their bodies, they are frozen in whatever position they were in. This leaves them vulnerable and they rely on camouflage to keep themselves safe. They are often mistaken for statues when in this frozen state, but Nocturne dragons do not actually turn into stone. Rather, they merely idle until the sun goes down. At night, these dragons come to life, proving themselves to be powerful fliers, although little else is known about their true behavior.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Lesuro is a gentle Nocturne dragon with a large pair of wings and blood red eyes. He is often seen with his closest companion, Menchura, sitting motionless outside of the cave. He is a guardian of the cave during the daylight hours, but he transforms and takes flight once night falls. Lesuro is far more outgoing and calm than Menchura, preferring to stay near the cave rather than stray on a midnight flight. He is quiet and compassionate, like many of his companions. He has a fondness for hatchlings and allows them to clamber over his back when he is frozen during the daylight hours. Lesuro is also witty and charming, although there are very little dragons awake to hear his jokes in the night. He often finds himself lonely during the midnight hours and sits outside the cave, watching the night sky. Lesuro eagerly awaits Menchuras return at dawn so that they may share a few quick stories before they become idle in the light of the sun.
