Perhaps not. It seems to be active during the night.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Drusilla is a descendant from a long line of seers and truth-speakers. When she was turned by a vampire as an egg her mental shields hadn't fully developed and the combination of her gift with her new vampiric powers drove her quite literally mad. Since her original Sire couldn't deal with that insanity he abandoned her.

Drusilla was lucky enough to find an ancient vampire who took her in. She took the name of her new 'Daddy' as a part of her own name and now lives a relatively comfortable life. Her family provides her with blood and safety and she doesn't have a care in the world when she sings to the stars about the wishes of blood or names all the night lilies around their lair Humphrey.
