Ice Dragons are fierce predators who hunt using their extremely cold breath. The breath of an ice dragon can freeze its prey solid in seconds. The body of an ice dragon is so cold that icicles will form along its skin no matter the outside temperature.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Trapped under Ice, better know as Ice, has a twisted sense of humor. One of his favorite tricks to play on unsuspecting humans is to get 'stuck' in a frozen body of water. He will go into a lake or other water that is deep enough and wait, over night, for it to freeze around himself, leaving only a wing, tail tip or paw above the ice. When worried humans come rushing over he burst from the ice, taking to the air, sending chucks of ice crashing to the ground below him into the crowd of humans below, sending them screaming and running for cover.  His intention is not to harm or kill anyone, but he never thinks that far ahead.
