The egg faded away completely; in its place there’s a cute baby dragon. It doesn’t seem to have much substance, though.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

A highly energetic, slightly crazy, loves-to-get-in-every-dragon's-business little dragon, this creature runs back and forth across the cave shouting orders like she owns the place--and, indeed, if one asks her, she'll quite happily claim that everyone else in the cave is 'her creation.' Most of the other dragons simply choose to ignore her, but they have to admit she DOES have an uncanny ability to know everything about them...

Due to being distracted by thinking about pretty boys (a common trend for her) when she marked down her own information on the scroll records, she accidentally recorded herself as a male on the papers; she has yet to notice this mistake.
