Golden Wyverns are known for their beautiful metallic scales and rumored magical abilities. Living high in the mountains, these dragons do not believe in killing for sport or pleasure. They will hunt only when hungry and defend themselves when provoked, but will avoid killing to the best of their abilities. Golden Wyverns often mingle with other dragons of similar color and take pride in their shimmering hide.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Aurum Regina relished her appearance of glistening golden scales. With nary a scale out of place and a symmetry that rivaled the beauty of the moon, even the metallic "true" dragons looked at her in awe. Truly a vain creature, Aurum Regina traveled the world on exhibitions, increasing her popularity until even the most secluded societies would cheer at the mention of her name.

One evening, Aurum Regina received an invitation by a well known, wealthy (and greedy) human ruler by the name of King Midas to arrive unaccompanied and model for a golden replica of herself. Despite her uncertainties, vanity won against natural instinct and alone she went to King Midas' castle tower. When she arrived, she realized vanity had betrayed her as golden chains encircled her while Midas and his men pulled her to his treasure room. So Aurum Regina, who valued vanity above all else, remains locked away as the Golden Queen of King Midas; a hopeless prisoner and a priceless treasure.
