Pargulus Pygmies can often be found tending to plants and foraging for food. They like to care for other living things, be it plant or animal, and will often leave the food from their foraging trips outside the dens of those who need it or even just those they think could use a treat. These colorful little dragons are especially attentive to anyone who might be struggling to find food themselves, such as the elderly, the sick, or the very young. Pargulus pygmies have a surprisingly large range considering their small size. They have been known to travel far and wide to find food to bring back to their friends.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Pygmy dragons are the smallest category of dragons, being on the same scale as domesticated animals. They are often found around concentrated populations of dragons, relying on their larger brethren to ward away potential predators and leave scraps. As such, the majority of a pygmy’s diet is scavenged. Due to their tiny size, pygmies do not breed with larger varieties of dragons.

User Description

Raney likes glens. A glen is a kind of valley, typically narrow and deep with sloping edges. He was born in a glen, he says, which is totally believable, and he also says he knows every glen 400 or so kilometers out from Healm State where he lives, which is less believable but still pretty believable. There's Fourhorn Glen, Cyankeep Glen, Glenelise, Stamenglenn, Maroon Glow Glen, Glean Iyrav... Within the Healmic Highlands, Raney's favorite glen in terms of available resources is Glenn Kharxa, with great weather for growing edible plants year-round, while in his opinion, Glen Did is the littlest-known but a must-see in mid-spring. Raney works in the Shaim House of Food and Agriculture, as a researcher. Whenever he finds out his colleagues plan to take days off, he always suggests which glens they can visit, if they happen to be interested. He tells them: if you're thinking of holidaying in a sloping, narrow valley, think a glen.
